Deeply saturated texture of sappy black cherry and raspberry, classic RRV baked pie and floral aromas. Some pomegranate and blood orange flavors brighten up the mid palate along with Asian spice, mint and a bit of mushroom on the finish. Oak and tannins are very well integrated, revealing a dense core of somewhat candied fruit. Acidity is soft but provides a bit of lift for the weighty fruit that reveals its origins from the warm microclimate of the Middle Reach. Lush, dense, succulent. Everything RRV Pinot Noir should be.

Bright and fruity. Rich aroma and subtle body with long finish proves this will get better with aging in bottle.
