Vintage Era Brut, Blanc de Blancs #2 of the sparkling wine sampler pack
Basic dry sparkling wine. Nothing special. It'll drink... — 6 months ago
Bottle #2 from the LB chardo mystery case….one of those super heavy chard btls…much better than #1, a ton of flavor, heavy on citrus & honey, not offensive in any way, but at the same time a little too up front on the palate, not much restraint. Stands up well to strongly flavored dishes. NB: open btl does not age well! — 2 months ago
@Delectable this is their Contraste #2
Bit of a hard transition after the Gimonnet. Not sure many would call blind 100% Meunier and 1 gram dosage.
For 1 gram, there is some sweetness. Grapefruit w/pith, bruise red & green apple, B that leans into a bit of cider, Bosc & some Bartlett pear, white citrus blend, ginger ale, yeasty notes, bread dough, soft, round, punchy chalkiness, alluvial limestone marl, caramel, vanillin, sea spray to fossils, white spice, baguette crust, whither white & yellow flowers, crisp acidity and well tensioned, structured, balanced, smartly polished finish that lasts two-minutes plus. — 6 months ago

Note #2,000 on Delectable!!
PnP. Dark red color. Cherries, iodine, subtle oak, and stewed fruit on the nose. Pretty one dimensional and lighter than I was expecting. Lacks depth and finish. Not bad but kind of watery. — a month ago
