Great stuff. Very plush and rich but with a savory core. First bottle from this vineyard and it’s an impressive wine.

Last bottle of this first vintage. As good as previous notes. About 90 minutes in the decanter. Dark fruit, pretty silky texture, savory core. No rush to drink it but it’s certainly accessible now.

Wow. Did not expect this one to be nearly this approachable at this point: the wine is fantastic. Seriously elevated character to the mourvedre in this one - maybe moreso than any other mourvedre-driven wine from Justin that I’ve had in a while - this is incredibly balanced with sweet, bright brambleberries on the nose and palate. Perfect acidity (at cellar temp - gets a bit flabby at room temp), with a full mouthfeel and a silky, lingering finish. Just terrific.
