Yes, definitely a cool experience to try this next to the 11. Quite crazy how the blend was so different, and the wines as well! This one definitely seem to have more of an obtuse, dense sweeter fruit core. Both really awesome wines!!

@Bryan Kesting : My wife requested a champagne (I got a halfie of Krug), a bottle of Aubert, and a bottle of Cade Napa Valley (she smelled it during our trip in February and said she wanted a bottle to herself once the baby comes because it smelled so good), so I’ve got a personal lineup ready for her! And go Blues!

@Shay A : Even though Mark worked with his buddy Justin Smith at Saxum for several years his wines are much more restrained. All that said the ones I have tasted are very good. The James Berry Syrah is great. I really like this Rosé. I believe they still have some available in their website.

Even though this had good balance and depth (better than the 15 Vertigo 22), I was really expecting a little bit more here. I think this one is just starting to show up. Probably will hold my other bottle for a year or 2!
