Mr Dunn has another hit! I’m a red fanatic with no shame. But it truly compliments the strong Long Shadows Collection with it’s intense starting notes and light finish. — 9 months ago
2004. So structured, drinking wonderfully. Fruit is red and black and pretty muted. Smooth and easy mouthfeel. Also getting some pencil shavings, cedar, wet earth. — 17 days ago
Nice flavours of raspberry, cherry and red fruit. Well balanced in terms of softness and tannic. Very drinkable. — 4 months ago
Rich dark and red fruits, still some evident firm, tannic structure (but I guess cellaring Madiran is like cellaring Dunn Howell Mountain, as life may not be long enough for them to shed their tannins? LOL), long, lingering firm finish, really quite fine!! — a year ago
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Trailer is a young wine that has a bit more mid-palate juiciness, texture and sweetness than the Howell Mountain Cabernet. Dark red fruit, blood orange, rose petals, and spice abound. This is a powerful, inky and explosive wine. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2024)

Takes the reins as best ever Dunn Cabernet for me…needed 45 mins out of Magnum, nose all Bordeaux of cedar and cigar box with a touch of cassis. Velvety palate, layers of red cherry and chocolate espresso bean, long, long finish. Find and drink now if you can. — 12 days ago
