Intense color with greenish hue. Fragrant aromatic, concentrated, sea salinity. Floral, almonds. Medium body. Unmistakably demonstrates the Grand Cru level which is accessible now and has immense potential for years ahead. Fully justifies the nobility of Vaudesir which often considered on par or the runner up to Le Clos.
Fairly steep slopes of Vaudesir with NW exposure provide cool temperatures and sunlight in the evening. Vines of Louis Michel parcels were planted in 1950-70s.
Winemaking with indigenous yeasts, spontaneous malo and matured for at least 18 months. Wines never see oak, stainless steel tanks only.

In southern Burgundy, at the northern border of Beaujolais, lies the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of stone fruits, melon and lemon citrus with light notes of vanilla oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with a minerality. Consistent quality! Nice! Good value! — 15 days ago
Medium gold color. Nice weight. An un-Chablis like nose. Notes of ginger and iodine, lemon, white clay and some cardamom. Sweet fruit in the mouth, but quiet and dull at first. It needs 4 hours of air before the acidity comes out and any sort of structure appears. If one was to drink this before hour 4, you might dump it as it was not at all interesting until then. Overall it’s not a bad showing, but this is another 05 Chablis that to me comes across more like a really good CA Chardonnay rather than what I look for in a grand cru Chablis. Maybe more age helps? — 18 hours ago
Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy texture. Very Nice! — 10 days ago
Wide open nose. Spice, minerals, hint of framing oak, mid season red cherries and sour cherries. Really fine and delicate aromas. Palate is lush, succulent and balanced but also holding back. On the elegant side of Pommard for sure. Really finessed on the palate with excellent length. Great sweetness, energy and sap. Extremely transparent and as it airs the texture gets more alluring and silky. Spectacular. — 18 hours ago
