Where Dreams Have No End Collio Chardonnay Blend 2018

100% Friulian Chardonnay. Light straw color. Aromas of cooked green apple, pear, white flowers and puff pastry. The palate also features green apple, but also some pineapple, unripe peach and lemon. Just a touch of both butterscotch and minerals. Hint of salty vanilla on the very long and smooth finish. Nice oak integration. Medium-plus body with fresh acidity. I love everything about this wine except the price. ($60-$80) — 2 months ago

Needed to get in touch with my roots. Raided my dad’s cellar when he wasn’t around to scold me for it. Enjoyed with my mom and sister over pasta with pesto. Resolved and in a beautiful spot. Herbaceous but still fresh. Elegant.

Had it after it was open for 24hrs. Malvasia comes through on the nose. Lots of brûlée, not so much acid. A bit viscous. Something marshmallow-y about the airy sweetness. Very nice — 5 months ago
