Incredible Brunello shared over some pizza after class. Oak, tobacco, leather notes were very pronounced and red fruit came through too. Young but still drank really well. — 19 days ago
Super fabulous Rioja, a rare snag off the shelf for me but I really should more because this was amazing. Co fermentation!! So complex, raspberries and menthol on the nose, anise, vanilla and cocoa on the finish. Wonderful! — a month ago
Good bottle, notes of plum, vanilla, and oak. Smooth finish and nicely dry. Would buy again! — 3 days ago
Very special 2000 Red blend from Spring Mountain, Napa served with a special Sunday dinner: Pasta a la Zozzona. Completely different wine in the first 30 minutes of drinking than it was after decanting for 30 minutes. Black Cherry, leather, tobacco. Soft round tannins and a LONG finish. But it’s really interesting, I’ve had wine aged half as long that showed its age 10x more than this wine. I feel like it could have aged even longer. — 19 days ago
Pinot from Burgundy. Notes of cherry, very complex. Really full bodied for a Pinot, probably because it was aged 20% new French oak. Organic wine, good age, great price point. One of my favorite finds! Paired exceptionally well with the Moroccan spiced pizza we had with it. — a month ago
Fun natural orange wine enjoyed with friends in New York. Slightly floral, very dry and bitter. Probably wouldn’t buy again, but how fun to try new things! — 3 days ago
Super cool Grenache/Sangiovese blend that we transitioned to after the Brunello. Paired perfectly with our dessert—cannolis and a pistachio strawberry Sunday. Notes of cherry, cranberry and blackberry were the strongest. Tart, but not overly so. — 19 days ago
Pinots from Willamette rarely dissapoint and this sure didn’t. Notes of strawberry, cherry, and chocolate. Paired really well with the lamb chops we had for dinner. Light to medium bodied, great with a meal. — 19 days ago
My choice for a dinner back home. Classic Sangiovese notes of red fruit like cherry and strawberry, and some leather and clove as well. The somm decanted it and had us wait 10 minutes before he poured the first glasses; tanins were soft but got even softer after 10 minutes decanted. Medium bodied, acidic, delicious. — a month ago

Celebratory glass after my senior design presentation! A blend of 49% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petite Verdot, with aromas of dark fruit, spice and cedar notes, aged for 22 months in French oak, 70% new. absolutely phenomenal. Notes of blackberry, cherry, and a little bit herby. Silky smooth — 2 days ago
