Friend blinded me on this bottle, I'm assuming as a cheeky prank. Aromatics initially deceived me as a chenin blanc upon opening, but became much more fragrant after it had been open for a few minutes. Honey and floral aromas, dry and reserved citrus fruits on the palate. Great balance of acidity, and a lot of texture. Really interesting wine, especially for the price. Consider this if you typically like chardonnays from Jura, but are craving a white burgundy.
