Deep Ruby with aromas of fresh ripe berry fruits, floral and slight spicy notes. Blend of 95% Sangiovese; 5% Canaiolo & Colorino, aged 24 months in oak. Fruit comes primarily from a small parcel of galestro-rich soils. On the palate cherry and black raspberry flavors, adding lovely floral notes, well balanced with acidity and fine tannins. The finish is long ending with slight earthy toasty minerality. Very Nice!! — 5 months ago
Medium body, delicate, but pleasant nose. Smooth with a palate of black cherry. Pairs well with a variety of foods, but excels with pasta. Drank in August 2025 — 9 months ago
The 2017 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia is incredibly polished and sophisticated. Silky tannins give the 2017 its racy, sleek personality. Over the last year, the 2017 Riserva has really settled into a gorgeous place. There is plenty of vintage 2017 intensity, but Rancia is distinctly medium in body and restrained. The wilder side of Sangiovese, one of the signatures of Rancia and Fèlsina. — 4 months ago
This is great quaffable italian red. Perfect pizza wine. Nice round opulent fruit without being overblown. Enough tannin and acid to hold the package together. Buy again! — 5 months ago
Not for the meek mannered types. Tannins & oak aging definitely playing the forefront. There were hints of berry, cherry fruit but were just peeking through. Would go well with most tuscan cuisine's. — 6 years ago

Fantastic Brunello di Montalcino. Not my first rodeo with Frescobaldi, but this one was exceptional. — 21 days ago
