The Antinori family of Florence, one of the world's oldest and most distinguished wine producers, has lived in Tuscany since the 14th century. Blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cab Sauv & 5% Cab Franc. Deep Ruby, aromas of black berry fruit aromas with herb, mint and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao, vanilla and aromatic spice. Fine graceful tannins, long finish, well balanced, savory ending with oak and juicy earthy mineral tones. Very Nice! — 2 years ago
Excellent! Perfect balance of everything! — 4 months ago
Black cherries, cassis, and oak on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins; tastes like blackberries, and crushed gravel with a long finish. I love this wine. I can't pick out any additional flavors so my score is a little lower than I would otherwise give. Nellie doesn't like it. Jason does. — 9 months ago
Cherries, plums, and spiciness dominate. Somewhat juicy, fairly acidic. Chalkiness on the aftertaste. Medium body.
Very pleasant. I'm hoping it opens up more. — 2 years ago
Bright red cherry earth forest floor roses graphite balsamic sage still with plenty of acid and tannins. Medium plus finish. Aromas and flavor pronounced. First tine I have had. Won't be the last. — 9 months ago
