Jul 7th, 2021This is basically Brunello for $20. Vineyard elevation is too high to label As Brunello. I sam good with that as the price is $60 less then Ragnaie’s Brunello.

An exceptional value at $20 - one of the best I’ve had recently. Ready to go out of the bottle with a bit of a chill. So fresh with great lighter red fruits. Nice reflection of higher altitude Sangiovese from Montalcino. Excellent balance and acid, medium minus tannins. Should have bought more.

Nez : bonbon rouge sour candy, cerise, fraise, orange sanguine, petits fruits rouges légèrement confiturés. Tertiaire : feuilles mouillées, bois, écorce.
Bouche : belle acidité, peu de tanins, assez simple. La bouche rappelle le nez. Excellent avec des pâtes ou de la pizza.
