I typically love this wine so maybe this is just a pre read before pairing it with food but wow this wine is sour cherry and tart.
Revised now that this was paired with pasta and parmigiana cheese. Wine is much better and balances well. Sour and tartness are gone and nice pairing

I love this wine, for me it hits all the notes, balanced, acidity, fruit, depth, interesting tannins that can hold up to salty food. Would like to try this vintage in a few years.

I love Flaccianello...it just speaks to me. Meaty, fruity and gorgeous. Mouthwatering, chewy tannins that with age will soften and make this even more amazing. If you haven't had this wine buy it now!!!! Paired well with Wagyu

Dec 25th, 20212017 Vintage. Great acidity, wonderful nose of dark cherry, plum and cassis. Tart in the beginning and a bit tannic. Opens fast and drinks well. Young, I would hold this for 5 more years.
