This wine probably wasn’t meant to age, but since it was made well with high acidity, it’s aging marvelously like some of my favorite Pinot Gris from Alsace. #sbcounty #sbcountywines #santabarbaracounty #santabarbara #pinotgrigio — 5 years ago
Showing tertiary aromas and flavors. Medium garnet color. Medium intensity. Toast and cranberry jam aromas. Soft and supple on the palate. Medium(+) finish. #santabarbaracounty #santabarbarapinot #sbcountywines #sbccounty #sbc #pinotnoir — 5 years ago

Juicy fresh and funky. Just how I love my Cab Franc. Great guys. #sbcountywines — 5 years ago
The flavours and aromas are a strange blend between #châteauneuf and #calipinot for me. Medium+ intensity of aromas. Blood, garrigue and sagebrush. Citrus and red currant. It has surprisingly tangy acidity and yet lacks the polished and balanced finish one would expect for the price of this wine. It also lacks mid palate weight/concentration. I’m not familiar with the vineyard, but it seems like the winemaker wanted to control the alcohol and the ripeness of #santaynezvalley and either harvested early or directly added water. The finish is long #gsm #blend #californianwine #sbcounty #sbcountywines — 7 years ago
#staritahills #pinotnoir #sbcountywines #paliwineco I believe a 90 is the right score for this wine. It's aging beautifully for a 2011. Deep and ripe PN the aromas are more VA and almost syrah or Zinfandelish than PN. What I love is the body and the refinement on the palate. There's a lovely sage and myrrh sensation that later leaves a dark cherry jam finish. Warm alcohol. — 9 years ago
Incredible how similar this seems to a Rioja! It has a little touch of mushrooms on the nose. Also medium+ intensity aromas of vanilla, cedar and toast. #staritahills #sbcountywines #sbcounty — 4 years ago

A little bit too much. I wouldn’t drink a whole bottle and for me that’s the telltale. #sbcountywines #sbcounty #calichard — 8 years ago
Intense aromas coming from this #sbcountywines #sbcounty floral and sweet peas. High acidity and a long tangy tangerine finish. #sauvignonblanc #santaynezvalley — 8 years ago
More ripe and fruity than I remembered. Clearly warm climate #pinot #sbcountywines brown sugar and raspberry pie nose, balanced and soft tannins. Delicious wine, but perhaps lacking tension, acidity and texture. — 9 years ago
