This is one of those few (and I do mean few) wines where it tastes better with #coravin than #uncorked With Coravin it has a lovely bouquet full of white flowers, citrus and hints of oak. Uncorked it just gets all acidic and looses the delicate complexity. Still, that being said...it is one of the better white #Rioja that I have tried and I’ve tried plenty. Reasonably priced. #macabeo #macabeu #viura #garnachablanca #grenacheblanc #malvasia — 2 years ago
Blend of #Grenachegris and #grenacheblanc and #Macabeu.
Alluvial Rolled clay pebbles for the Macabeu.
Shale (schist) lands for Grenache.
Fermentation of musts in demi muids (500 l), aging on lees. Racking of wines and bottling without fining (a little reduction on the nose) #languedoc #languedocroussillon #roussillon — 2 years ago

Nice crisp stone fruit (apricot and white peach) aromas and flavors and a touch of tangerine. #losolivos #sbcountywines #sbcounty #santabarbaracounty #santabarbara #grenacheblanc #garnachablanca #picpoul #viognier #marsanne #roussanne — a year ago
Marvelous. The blend is perfect. Hints of Oak, hints of cream, hints of melon, hints of tangerine, hints of peach and hints of pineapple. Almost seems like a tart Chardonnay. I’m impressed. #organic #ecowine #rhone #costieresdenimes #grenacheblanc #whiterhonefairy — 2 years ago
I don’t understand why the average rating from everyone else is 8.7? I am tasting the latest vintage 2019 three months after bottling and I think it’s delicious. Which is hard for me to say because Herencia Altes is competition for my wines and they sell their entry level wines at prices so low that it’s absolutely impossible to turn a profit or compete with them. This wine has been aged in concrete semi-oval tanks on lees for 2 months with Battonage and then 6 months without the lees. On the nose it has medium(+) aromas and flavours and it almost seems like it has been fermented in oak. Medium(+) body, the alcohol is high 14% and while it is fairly supported and balanced by the ripe and expressive citrus fruit and the medium acidity, the alcohol lingers on and warms your chest. The finish is medium(+) and elegant. #terraalta #spain #garnachablanca #grenacheblanc — 2 years ago
It was funny but I was debating whether to buy this wine or the Ridge #Grenacheblanc and when I looked at @Delectable Wine it would seem that the Ridge wine sources their fruit from these vineyards? The price was about $5 less for this wine and people seem to like it equally or more on Delectable. I enjoyed it. I tasted it side by side with the Margerum M5 Grenache Blanc blend and I personally prefer the Margerum which I found crunchier, more lively aromátics. I believe this wine should be drink in its youth, I didn’t see any room for positive development. — a year ago
Lovely in its youth and a wonderful example of dry Grenache Blanc from CA. But one should not expect anything less from Tablas Creek. Soft citrus notes with white pepper which integrates nicely with the subtle herbaceous notes. Great for winter time when you want a nice bright white wine that still fills you with warmth.

Loads of texture and zest. Fresh and yeasty and medium+ finish. Outstanding. One of the best #grenacheblanc I’ve ever had. #southafricanwine #southafrica — 2 years ago
