Surprising. Deep brooding color. Intense aromas of deep, ripe bramble and hints of peppery spice. A touch of VA on the nose. On the palate the fruit is ripe and slightly chewy and the acidity balances out the ripe fruit. I’m very surprised by the alcohol level. Only 13.4%!!! This is one is by no means watered down? It’s pure and intense, and there’s no green underripe fruit here? #pasorobles #gsmblend #gsm — 5 years ago
If I tasted this blind I could have sworn it was a Bordeaux. This #pasorobles #merlot is special - laid back fruit, pronounced acidity, earthy spice with some coffee, pepper and a faint bit of licorice. Nice wine if you’re like me and really prefer the Old World style. — 7 years ago

Inky dark #pasorobles blend - loads of bramble fruit, soft tannins but pretty sweet. I prefer a more dry red but nice party wine nonetheless. — 9 years ago
Not quite opaque but med + concentration and a deep ruby core with little rim variation. Med + intensity and med complexity. A fruit bomb on the nose and palate. Ripe/jammy black and fruit. Seductive and yummy with smooth tannins and med - acid. Alcohol is well integrated. Med length. Just plain old delicious. #justin #pasorobles #cabernetsauvignon #fruitbomb #californiacab #ctbucklinwine — 10 years ago
Wonderful #Grenache blend; fresh fruit forward w/ subtle tinge of #marjoram attack of tongue; classic #pasorobles profile — 10 years ago
Strong QPR, fascinated study to see an entry level offering from Tablas Creek aged 13 years. Time has taken the fruit farther back from the palate, featuring meaty and stewed fruit up front, sweet tobacco mid-palate and vanishing tannins on the finish. #pasorobles — 2 years ago

Lovely in its youth and a wonderful example of dry Grenache Blanc from CA. But one should not expect anything less from Tablas Creek. Soft citrus notes with white pepper which integrates nicely with the subtle herbaceous notes. Great for winter time when you want a nice bright white wine that still fills you with warmth.

One of the most expressive and textural #pinotgrigio outside of Alsace that I’ve ever had. Beeswax almost Chenin like nose, but surprisingly the winemaker said that there’s no lees contact or batonnage. Bright acidity and citrus palate. Blend with #falanghina #pasorobles — 8 years ago
I always like trying different blends and Paso Robles blend of primitivo, Syrah and Mourvèdre was certainly different. To me this is a chefs pantry. Lots of spices came to mind. Pepper, thyme and lightly smoked fennel. The fruits of the berries seemed washed though to me but you could still pick them out. This will not be one of those universal beloved wines but I did enjoy it. I would love to get with my chef friends and find a really good dish to go with this wine. If your adventurous try this one. #California #CentralCoast #PasoRobles #redblend #BrianBensonWinery — 8 years ago
Not bad for a Trader Joe's special. Straight out of #pasorobles — 10 years ago
Juicy dark fruit, moderate oak and good acidity frame up a solid QPR #pasorobles red blend. — 4 years ago
#pasorobles Rhône-style blend from Nice Winery. The winemaker has threaded a nice balance between CA fruit-forward and Old World styles. Dark bramble fruit, plum and much more shy savory, meaty notes on the nose. Acid up-front in your palate but the savory notes assert themselves, some black olive, black pepper, oak spice on the finish. Great wine to pair with BBQ, pizza or white sauce pasta.

Fruit bomb - baskets of ripe and jammy blackberry, raspberry, black currant- also oak, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla bean, dried coconut, cola, with delicate sage and mint notes. All of that, coupled with soft tannins on the palate, make this a pop-and-pour kind of Cab from Paso Robles. Vintage 2018. ABV 15%.

Baller. Needs a ton of time. Unripe plum and blackberry. What I love about #pasorobles — 8 years ago
Quite possibly one of my favorite sub $20 cabs. Big dark fruits, hints of chocolate, and lush combo of vanilla & oak. Perfect with pizza or meats. #pasorobles — 9 years ago

Pleasantly surprised by this #pasorobles #sauvignonblanc. Balanced, rich texture, some lemongrass, orchard fruit. Nice counterpoint to NZ SB. — 8 months ago
