Heavy ink color. Soft berries on the nose like blackberries and blueberries in June.
It's like a chocolate doberge cake layered with big, dark fruits instead of yellow cake. Soft hints of vanilla fade in and out from the oak barrels.
This juice is yum 🍷 — 6 hours ago
Cracked this on Friday before our Christmas party. Then it was drinking like a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Diving off into this bad boy this afternoon and it seems to have changed a bit. It's almost like the alcohol increased. It's coming in a little hot on the front end. Mellows out quickly though. It's got a super rich meaty sensation to it that finishes with a little vanilla dancing on the tongue. Good stuff. — a day ago
What’s up, y’all? Long while, no posts. Haven’t had anything worth posting lately and life has been busy. Oh well....
This Beaujolais takes me back to childhood. My great-grandmother used to make these black cherry gelatin desserts that were divine. This wine takes me back there. The nose is soft and floral. It politely lures you in. Then shalack, minerals, fungi, light perfume, faint hints of oak, and those beautiful black cherries. Dessert? Nah, I’m good! More of this subtle beauty. — 2 months ago
