Top Notes For
While this is Quintarelli's current vintage it does show its age with a medium Garnet color and aromas that are mainly tertiary in nature - the cherry fruit is underpinned with earth, forest floor, leather, wet stone and tobacco. I doubt it will improve with further age and I don't expect it will gain more charm. All in all a surprisingly austere effort

Sep 4th, 2019A very nice Valpolicella. You notice the smooth, silky notes up front. Deep currant, floral elements. So rich, you barely notice the high alcohol content. Classic Quintarelli quality. I still enjoy the Rosso Ca del Merlo for a similar price point.
