Consistent vintage to vintage. A bit jammy in the finish for my taste, but still layered and restrained for Cali Cab.

Opaque very dark ruby color, and medium-bodied this wine offers baked black and red fruit, dark chocolate, spice and subtle cedar wood aromas. On the palate it shows a supple texture with chalky well integrated tannins and blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate and a kiss of cassis flavors. 13.9% alcohol. Spends 18 months in 225-liter American oak barrels. 2010 Vintage

Not bad. Out of a magnum. Probably excellent two years ago but still solid. Before Fiji purchase.

Dark red, medium depth. Intense nose with jammy blueberries, nutmeg and thyme. Warm, ripe black fruit and spices, nice balancing acidity and well-integrated alcohol. Good length too. Nice value. 2012 vintage, abv 14,9%. 24,40 euro.
