This is a friend's #limited production (only 500 bottles) 100% #Viura #Macabeo from #aragon that has some of the characteristics and quality of a #whiteburgundy it has a little oak and is quite nice. The label is misleading and could be more elegant and not so psychedelic — 6 years ago

#solera system 35 year old cask started with late harvest #macabeo and then continually add #grenachegris and #grenacheblanc #garnacha to get an amber colored intensely aroma sweet wine. Hazelnuts waffles and beeswax and honey. Everything delicious and amber colored is in here. — 5 years ago

This is one of those few (and I do mean few) wines where it tastes better with #coravin than #uncorked With Coravin it has a lovely bouquet full of white flowers, citrus and hints of oak. Uncorked it just gets all acidic and looses the delicate complexity. Still, that being said...it is one of the better white #Rioja that I have tried and I’ve tried plenty.
