Generous, intense, brooding, sexy wine from accomplished winemaker #SebastianNasello of #PodereLeRipi. Due to #sommlife, I've had approximately 60 #sangiovese based wines in 48 hours. This one takes the cake. Or, the steak, as it were. #bonsai is from a #montalcino vineyard with 63,000+ vines/ha, forcing hydrostatic stress & rapid root development. 600 bottles produced. Almost all, sadly, consumed greedily upon release (guilty as charged). I'd love to see where this goes... — 3 years ago
