Zingy. Tangy. Drier than I expected. Great with octopus risotto. — 23 days ago
Had this one 5 years ago and it is better than I remember it. What a fantastic wine and vintage. Thought it was a high end Barolo when I tried it blind. But somehow a little more delicate and refined. — a month ago
I tried this blind and guessed Canadian Merlot, lol. Either I suck or the wine does. I don’t mean any disrespect, it was good, it just didn’t taste how I would want my 10 year old 1er cru volnay to taste. It was ruby in colour, fruity, not many mineral notes, soft on acidity… just not what I would have expected this to taste like. — 8 days ago
Always a banger but lost to a 2016 reserva in a blind taste. Probably because this vintage scored 90, while that one was a 94. Doesn’t make this any less of a super star though. Great wine, great house. — a month ago
Still a lot of legs on this one in terms of aging potential. Fantastic wine. So balanced. So full. — a month ago
Even better 4 1/2 years after the first time I tried it. This wine/vintage over-performs. Comparable to some of the higher end riservas. — 23 days ago
Liked the 2013 considerably more than the 2015. Still a good wine but not as big as I wanted. Probably be past prime next year. — 23 days ago
This really over performs, considering it’s just a reserva. Might go down as one of the richest and flavourful riojas I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious wine. Lots of oak and red fruit. Vibrant. Alive. — a month ago
More old world than I expected, some cedar cigar box and leather, which was nice. But doesn’t have the length and complexity I crave. — a month ago

4 years after trying this vintage the first time and calling it Nirvana-esque. I rescind. Didn’t live up to the expectations. Less Nirvana and more Skin Yard. It’s a decent nebbiolo, but if you’re gonna call it a Barolo, it lacks. — 8 days ago
