My first experience with a Lebanese wine and I’m loving it. Starts with buttery popcorn on the nose, the palate opens with citrus, and the finish sways back onto the Chardonnay style malo butter. Very interesting blend of flavours. Quite impressed! — 6 days ago
Solid wine but so young. Not ready. You can taste each of the elements separately. First fruit. Then brandy. Then wood. Then alcohol. Soon, one day, it will all be well-amalgamated, and so delicious. Right now, it’s just interesting. But I couldn’t drink too much of this. — 21 days ago
This one has a spicy cedar box finish on the back of the palate. 2007 means it needs oxygen for a few mins before you drink it. It’s potent, but disappointingly off balance for a proprietary blend—it errs too far on the herbal side for me. — 12 days ago
All I taste is green bell peppers and earth. Way too much of this. They say this is a well-recognized brand? I wonder if the psychology clouds people’s judgement of the flavour here. Not for your average North American palate. But I can see this going really well with some sardines. — 21 days ago
