Not as sweet as others, but still sweet! Very full, good spice, yummy w chocolate. — 6 months ago
Vino nobile from Montepulciano is one of our most favorite Italian wines. Made from a strain of Sangiovese called Prugnolo gentile. It requires a bit of an acquired taste as it is super minerally, earthy with a very present iron ore/rust note. But when it all comes together in perfect harmony it is an experience. And so was this wine. — 10 months ago
A Sangiovese driven wine with a delightful vivid ruby red with notable violet hues. On the nose is highly persistent in the fruity and spicy notes.
The one is already in its prime time, well-balanced between acidity, and approachable tannins. Tends to be a bit fruitier with some red berry compote with a juicy mouthfeel and moderate finish, which makes it savory as the spices shows on back-end of the palate as well. Cheers! — a month ago
[8 hour decant] The spirit in this bottle seems non-integrated, which is the first 1985 Graham’s we’ve drunk where I recall this being the case, this is less sweet as well, so ultimately a good, but not great, bottle of 1985 Graham’s. We’ll see how future bottles of this wine show. — 4 months ago
NOSE: blackberry and blueberry - juicy and fresh. Mild baking spice. Smells simple but inviting.
TASTE: quite pleasant. Soft (but not too soft - enough tannin and heft and nice acidity to balance), fruity (dark berries as the nose). Finishes with cherry and a little woody tannin, but still silky, Perfect example of simple, approachable wine done very well - no off tastes whatever. This is enjoyable and a good deal for the $13 I paid, in my opinion. 90. — 3 years ago
[8 hour decant] Impenetrable, super opaque dark purple color, seriously, color is SO DARK it looks like 5W-30 motor oil after 10-15 thousand miles, lovely raisin aromas and flavors, tending a little dry as Dow’s VP does, super long, lingering finish, if any Vintage Porto could easily go 100+ years, this might be it!! Seriously, the color alone suggests a VERY YOUNG barrel sample, AMAZING!! — 4 months ago
so memorable. had it 2 weeks ago and I can still taste it. warm nutmeg bold but round. I wish I could find this at my local wine stores. I love it as an accompaniment to some charcuterie, nuts, olives etc. — 7 months ago

This wine is made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, offering vibrant red fruit flavors, balanced tannins, and a delicate finish that showcases the family's dedication to quality and legacy in the region as they have been crafting wine for 600+ years.
On the nose the fruity notes are prominent yet well balanced by subtle touch of violets and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is remarkably balanced and characterized by some striking aromas of strawberries and ripe cherries. As a mouthfeel, medium-bodied and remains on the tart side with a very long smooth finish. I pizza and red sauces pastas wine. — 6 days ago
