2022 vintage tasted in 2026. Medium-light body, nice blend of tart and sweet, pleasantly vibrant but slightly mellow. A good pizza wine or everyday drinker with meals.
Comes in half bottle size, which is a bonus for me! (Can actually finish it before it goes stale.)

Absolutely fantastic with ratatouille with thyme. Cuts through everything and melds beautifully. Need another bottle to form more thoughts.

Elements of dark fruit, spice, and tobacco. Tanins are definitely a little grippy, but pretty pleasant overall. Paired with a pasta with red sauce. Enjoyed it, would buy again.

Red wine 2022.
Easy to drink red table wine. Medium floral ? Little tannins. Nice bottle of vino with a homemade pasta sauce on a snowed in 16+ inch blizzard with the kids off school. I am starting to really like these Italian reds. They seem to be smooth, lighter vino not this jam with your peanut butter sandwich. Would recommend. $18.

Dark and juicy with light tannins and an easy but noticeable finish. This was a surprising find from Trader Joe’s that I will definitely look for again!

Jan 23rd, 2026Deep purple in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, dried herbs, and vanilla; on the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, medium alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of plum, baking spices, a hint of black pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense and balanced, but it's difficult to differentiate the flavors. Overall, I rate this wine as very good.
