Villa Malacari Rosso Conero Montepulciano 2015

Night 1 a little funk on the nose- reminds me of the tester glue I used to build plastic models. Good fruit, med tannins, rustic. But pleasant. Day 2 the nose has more barnyard- band aid thing. Wine seems more together- cohesive. I like these old school wines. No flash. The Neil Young of wines. — 8 days ago

VERY good cheap bottle. Fruity. Good with pizza on a Tuesday. — 2 days ago

Asinone Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese 1997

Beautiful on the nose, but showing a bit of oxidation on the finish, time to drink up. — 13 days ago

Valentina Passalacqua

Mezzorosa Puglia Montepulciano Rosato

Second bottle recommended by my friends at Henry’s. Yummy. “Juicy” is definitely the word! Tastes MUCH better chilled. Apparently this lady winemaker was the talk of the RAW wine fair. 🆒 People are saying it’s “funky.” I think I like funk. Will didn’t appreciate the bottle cap or stick figures on the label, but I’m a fan. — 5 days ago

Toscano Vineyards

Artigiani Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

Spiced cherries, medium-bodied, long dry finish. Like a Flanders Red beer as wine. — 6 days ago

Azienda Agricola Cirelli (Francesco Cirelli)

Organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2018

Fruity, easy but dark. Good for cold nights with old friends. — 12 days ago

Barba Montepulciano D'Abruzzo

Easy to drink. Very good with food. For just sipping its a little sweet. Not to dry. A happy in between. For the price it's good. — a day ago

Revista dos Vinhos

Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2017

Spicy nose, pepper, bell pepper, rosemary and other herbs, wood, cardboard. Full-bodied, round sweet and fruity mouth full of ripe berries. I like it chilled so maybe I missed something. — 13 days ago

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2016

Dry and acidic as well, fruity, well balanced but steals the show a bit with food. Great value. — 16 days ago
