Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2022 pours a pale coral color with a transparent core; medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with a refreshing mix of tart and ripe red fruits; strawberry, watermelon dry underbrush, red flowers, and wet stone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry; tannins are light with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and saline. Lovely texture. This continues to be a benchmark for rosé. The description: The colour is salmon, light pink rose. The aromas show fresh strawberries, cranberry and hints of white pepper. The palate is where the romance is. The texture is crisp almost crunchy, which brings out the fresh strawberry and red tree fruit characters. This wines truly refreshes the palate… and soul.
