Drank with grilled ducks at Camp with dad, G, A, and B. Lighter than expected, but good red fruit. — 20 days ago
Drank with Christmas dinner, with honey baked ham, with brown sugar sweet potatoes. Too fruit forward for me. Overwhelms the other flavors a little. Might be too young. — 22 days ago
Really good steak pairing. A little past its prime but lots of fresh fruit flavor. Finish is short but due to age. Drank with Kevin and Josh M and their boys with grilled steak, potatoes, and oven broccoli. — 14 days ago
Drank at Camp with papa’s smoked venison haunch. Balances good dark fruit and earthiness. Good pairing with the food. Also good after. — 21 days ago
Drank with Christmas dinner 2024, with honey baked ham, and brown sugar sweet potatoes. Russian River Valley Pinot goes really well with ham. This one was really good. With and without food. Fruit forward but doesn’t overwhelm the wine. Buy more. — 22 days ago
Drank with NYE dinner with in-laws. Ate oven roasted bone-in pork chops and sweet potatoes. Very good red berry fruit and light earthy flavors. Good pairing with food. Nice medium-length, light finish. — 17 days ago
Drank at Camp with papa’s smoked venison haunch. Very good strawberry and blackberry fruit. Still seems fresh and young after 8 years. Good wine, both with rare meat and by itself. — 21 days ago
Drank with Elissa’s egg dish Christmas morning. Very crisp with fine vibrant bubbles. Long lingering finish. Floral, lemon, and honeysuckle (other reviewers notes helped). I think I prefer a little less brightness in my champagne. I need to drink more and consider this. — 22 days ago
