Getting the hang of tasting wines, with a growing appreciation for reds.
Really nice- blackberry and black currant (and maybe a hint of sea rose) on the nose, dark fruit predominates the palate as well. Some good mouthfeel, not too tannic or acidic, pleasure to drink. We bought in 2015, but it is non vintage. — 9 days ago
Albariño: a little sweet , some limestone, floral maybe, and a little tropical fruit? — 3 months ago
Nice full to medium bodied, cherry and fennel and some cooking spices maybe. Some spiciness and smoky leather maybe too. — 3 months ago
Really lovely earthy, leather, and tobacco notes with some dark fruit (blackberries or black currants). Still has some of that stereotypical VA cab franc honeysuckle bright and yeasty notes. This has cellared well! (43% Merlot, 36% Cab Sauv, 14% Cab Franc, 7% petit Verdot) — 2 months ago
