Ruby in color with aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, vanilla, and earthy hints. Decanting softens the smoky notes, revealing bright red fruit and a touch of licorice. The palate is dry and well-balanced, with smooth tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, fruity finish. A versatile, well-structured wine that pairs easily with food.

Located in the heart of Umbria, pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and honey floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and peach with citrus and nutty notes. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with salty mineral character. Nice! — 17 days ago

Too young but insane potential...going to buy more. Love this wine and its depth and complexity. Paired well with venison. — 24 days ago
See previous Note. Old plummie, red cherry notes. Barb said dusty and pine needles. A cooler vintage. I said red cherries and freshly tilled loam. As Galloni said “In 2010 Ama did not bottle their single vineyard selections. All the best fruit went here.” Tasting more the quality of a Brunello than a Chianti Classico. Chiara Boschis is the white wizard of modern Barolo. At six years this is tasting amazing, takes about 90 mins to fully flourish but once its there, the wine displays beautiful structure, fine grain tannins, vivid acidity, and a balanced play between perfectly ripe fruit and earthy undertones. My chef friend was kind enough to gift me some fresh black truffle from Piedmont. Can’t begin to explain the harmony in the pairing. Cheers. — 17 days ago
