Beautiful deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, plum, anise, cocoa, coffee, minerals, and warm spice. On the palate, cherry, tart berry, strawberry, vanilla, baking spices, minerals, turning to jammy fruit and a very long finish of the same flavors. Full body, with a rather rich mouthfeel. 2015 vintage with notable tannins still present. Revisited later with food and started getting notes of coffee and chocolate on the palate. Wonderfully full bodied and rich wine. — 18 days ago

Garnet coloration. Good amount of translucency. On the nose, cherry, strawberry, minerals and hints of tar, leather and florals-roses. On the palate, cherry, cranberry, minerals, and a long finish with hints of light strawberry and floras- some rose perhaps. Tannins strong out of the bottle. Will need to decant for a while and revisit. Wonderful first impression. After several hours decanting, the palate evolved to include strawberry, spice and pepper. — a month ago
