Try It Out! Vermentino Blend

Love this spritzer. Gentle flavors of lemon and orange compliment it well #motorcitywine — 8 days ago

Merry Edwards

Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2019

This wine was fun and delicious. Green apples and melons stood out on the palate. Definitely an enjoyable easy drinking wine. Paired well with charcuterie. — 9 days ago

Grande Cuvée Brut Champagne Blend

World premiere of the 170 edition. A dazzling streak of acidity runs through this. Soft composed lemon notes and a subtle minerality. Quite light at the moment. It needs some time in bottle to flesh out but great material — 7 days ago

Myriad Cellars

Peterson Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

So Delicious! Blackberries, blueberries, cherry liquor, black licorice, eucalyptus. Graphite, vanilla, earth, great long finish! I opened this early, it could benefit from a few more years! I have justification for opening this! I just found out that my son proposed, officially engaged! — 9 days ago

Weiss No.10 Trauben Lieb und Zeit

A little sulphuric on the nose, rich & generous with cut apple and minerality. They need to sort out the papyrus font on the label but otherwise, Lovely m8 — 7 days ago

Domaine Bart

Marsannay Rosé Pinot Noir 2020

N: Strawberries and peaches with some dirt. Shows best when it’s been out for a bit.
P: Nice bright and lip smacking, it hints at cherries. Very herbal, perfect with a blt and white bean/garlic scape dip.
With extended time out, this fills out, develops a cantaloupe rind quality.

Weingut Battenfeld-Spanier

Kirchenstück Riesling 2018

Could smell this out of the bottle directly after popping the cork! Lemon, petrol, smoke and crushed stones. Palatte was all about minerality for me with light tones of ripe melon. Salty finish with perfectly balanced acidity. Cracking wine — 9 days ago

Domaine Dujac

Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2011

This was not as expressive as I normally get out of Dujac but still enjoyable showing some black fruits, earth, crushed rock, spice & floral tones. A producer I buy every year from top to bottom but getting harder to source. — 3 days ago

864 Charlie's Block Chardonnay 2011

My last bottle of this excellent Oakridge 864 Chardonnay. See previous Delectable notes. Great citric intensity on nose and palate. Oak is totally integrated - just a faint vanilla note. My previous note in May 2021 said lacking mid palate fruit but this has filled out nicely - it just needed another year. — 2 days ago

Ark Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Day 10 of covid isolation and finally a negative test. Yeah!.....had to break out something nice to celebrate. Prior notes mostly apply. This is a beauty of a wine worthy of any celebration. Cheers! — 9 days ago
