Clos du Murger Meursault Chardonnay 2015

This half bottle showed more advanced than the one I had a year ago. Oxidation notes are starting to emerge. Still quite enjoyable though, medium to fullbodied palate, hot buttered popcorn, nectarine and mandarin. Hints of baked apples, honeyed hazelnuts and brown spices on the nose. — 4 hours ago

Cent-Vignes Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2010

Oh my. This was the most purest drinking burgundy I have had in a very long time. This felt like the most beautiful wine that was running down my throat. My friend and I were absolutely in awe at the red fruits the freshness of the red cherries. No wonder it’s a premier cru. Amazing. Can’t wait to get another one — 3 months ago

Domaine Grosbot-Barbara

S.A.S Prince Charles-Henri de Lobkowicz St. Pourçain Chardonnay Blend 2023

Still one of the great alt whites in the world.

N: swirling white and yellow flowers. Almost an echo of tropical fruit.

P: delicious. Clean. Balanced. Juicy. Liquid yellow flowers. Some crunch. Mountain steam. Amazing elegance.

9.5-9.6. Sick value at this price.

Edelzwicker Alsace White Blend

Enjoyed the 2020 a bit more. Solid wine but sweeter (just a touch so) than expected. Needs a bit more zip. The 2020 being a bit better makes me wonder if I should have kept the 2022 a little longer before opening — 9 months ago
