Opened after Xmas lunch as we needed a follow up to the Black Shiraz. Did not disappoint. Mature and soft with all the lovely spice and dark fruit of the basket pressed. Lovely. — 14 days ago
Very fine chardonnay. Very expensive toasted French oak on the nose which is integrated well with the fruit. Rich and chewy but lacking length and minerality which would have given it a higher score. — 15 days ago
Wow. My first Austrian Riesling. Lovely wine. Nice acidity and some citrus but an unexpected rich middle palate with unctuous mouthfeel and creaminess. Stunning wine. — 12 days ago
Drunk after Rockford Black Shiraz for Xmas lunch. Totally different to the Rockford but held up with its fine structure and length. Perfect follow up with Xmas lunch. — 14 days ago
Magnificent! So fragrant and velvety, there is a good reason hunter Shiraz used to be called Burgundy. Fruit still vibrant with lovely tertiary characters. — 16 days ago
Piercing acidity and citrus fruit but not much length. Nice wine, but Not to my taste. — 13 days ago
Not the best 2000 I have had. Some harsh characters but still with nice fruit, eucalyptus and saddle leather. — 14 days ago
My first real Lambrusco. Extremely dry, perhaps zero dosage? Licorice and dried herbs. Interesting but not for me. — 14 days ago
Really interesting Portuguese varietal. Funky, very aromatic and spicy. Lovely. — 17 days ago

So youthful, assisted by a great cork. Amazing power with velvety richness. Truly lovely. — 9 days ago
