Agreed Helen. It’s interesting finding a district where Cabernet and Chardonnay stand out. Makes one wonder how Chardonnay would go in Bordeaux if producers actually did that.

I don’t care. Some of the best wines are from Greece. Underrated. Thymiopoulos is my favourite winemaker and this xinomavro didn’t disappoint. Absolutely delightful of red fruits. Full body. High acidity. The more it was opening up the lengthier the taste was. Honestly hadn’t enjoyed a xinomavro like this in ages — 18 days ago
