One of my favorite Tuscan white blends-- easy to drink but lots of personality. — a month ago
Pretty dry not bad for a cheaper wine — 7 months ago
In 1877, Illario and Leopoldo Ruffino laid the foundations of their dream to make Italian wines from the heart of Tuscany. Medium Ruby red color with aromas of dark berry fruit and earthy spice, blend of 80% Sangiovese with rest Merlot and Cab Sauv. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with tobacco, pepper and earthy cedar notes. Full-bodied, well balanced soft drying tannins on a smooth medium+ finish. Grab some Italian food and enjoy the great value wine. Consistent quality, a Fav!! — 18 days ago
2016. Experimental spur of the moment pick up from a Salcha gas station wine rack. Bright lights and loaded with dust, I’m sure it was there for several years before I liberated it. My coworker smoked a rib roast and the straightforward cherry flavors in the wine paired great. Wine was surprisingly sound. — 3 months ago
2020 vintage. Super balanced. Lots of cherries. — 6 months ago
Very nice but obviously will be better in a couple years. With a bunch of air it is still quite nice now. Generally feel these wines are an excellent value and quite typical of good Barolo. Nice with a dinner of two stuffed pasta - one stuffed with prosciutto and one with braised beef. — a month ago
Very nice. A little more sophisticated than our usual Montepulciano. Incredibly smooth. Easy going easy drinking. Can’t wait for the pasta to be done — 2 months ago

Medium ruby in color; green peppercorns, black cherries, and ash on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like tart cherries, blackberries, and asphalt with a medium finish. Needs to breath. — a day ago
