True burgundy in color. Strawberry, cedar, and some barnyard funk on the nose. Cranberry, wild strawberry, and sour cherry on the palate. Bright acidity, medium tannin, dry finish. Really interesting, very good wine. — a day ago
Chardonnay was crisp and had citrus favor of apples and pears. I usually don’t like Chardonnay as it’s too oaky for me, but this is un-Oaked. Went well with cheese and a roast chicken for an afternoon meal! I would buy again — 6 days ago
Rich, intense and opulent. A bigger vintage, but so well made, balanced and unlike how some other white Rhône’s can be, the alcohol is seamlessly hidden here. Layered with spiced orchard fruit, grilled nuts, honeycake, brown butter and nutmeg. There is a rich mouthcoating and viscous texture with great midpalate depth leading to a delightfully long finish. A great showing indeed. — 15 hours ago
Peach, key lime pie, Fuji apple, and brioche on the clean crisp nose. Fine creamy mousses lead to a supple and elegant palate. Fresh acidity and hint of chalky minerals.
For about the same price, I prefer Charles Heidseick NV bottling for its complexity and intensity. — 21 days ago
Nose has ripe cherry, wet blueberry, black raspberry juice with minor garden mud.
Palate has juiced cherry/blackberry/under-ripe strawberry, bold tannins, moist chalk and ripe red/black currants. Nice but mild acidity, medium finish. Delicious!
Solid Costco purchase at ~$35. — a day ago
A preferred house fir Corton Charlemagne and a favorite vintage from this house over the past decade. This bottle is spot on, in my humble opinion. Aromatics show tropical fruits of coconut, oak, acacia, and more. Mid palate of big bold resins and viscosity. Finish lasts more than a minute. Wish I had more bottles to pull out of the locker to enjoy!! — 10 days ago

Functional Costco purchase @ $18.99. Delectable has this at $30. 🙄 Wouldn’t it be great for users & the app if we could buy wine through Delectable at more reasonable prices plus free shipping? Think of all the platform bugs Delectable could fix with the added revenue.
The nose shows; honeysuckle notes, ripe, ruby & sour lemons, overripe pineapple juice, dried apricots, yellow peach, touch of marmalade fruit, combo of white with shades of pink grapefruits, melted caramel, saline, limestone, soft, understated chalkiness, toasted nuts, candle wax, green leaves that are not quite eucalyptus, melted raw sugar, butterscotch notes with candied yellow lilies and a touch of mixed flower greens.
The body is; thick, full, round with high viscosity. Honeysuckle notes, ripe, ruby & sour lemons, overripe pineapple juice, dried apricots, yellow peach, tangerines, touch of marmalade fruit, combo of white with shades of pink grapefruits, melted caramel, vanilla, saline, white spice, limestone, dry, crushed volcanics, soft, understated chalkiness, toasted nuts, candle wax, warm toast, green leaves that are not quite eucalyptus, melted raw sugar, butterscotch notes with candied yellow lilies and a touch of mixed flower greens. The acidity is round and beautiful. The finish is; rich, ruby, elegant, well balanced fruit & earth and persists nicely for minutes.
