Tawny and translucent. Nice ripe cherry nose plus notes of rhubarb, earth, cranberry, and some wood. Lots of power in the mouth. Chewy but becomes more approachable with air. Great mouth feel with softened tannins. Still has that 96 acidity tho. With more air the fruit fades and a dry finish emerges. Was good in the first few hours then lost it’s better qualities. — 7 days ago
Color- Garnett, smelled like lime with some earth, taste of cherry, cinnamon, very elegant and silky. Tasted during Pinot Noir class — 6 days ago
Cherry hits you over the head in aromas. Oak comes through on the tongue. Very balanced with distinguishable tannin and acidity. — 2 days ago
Everything I want and expect from nice burgundy after 20 years. So delicious! — 5 days ago
House of Louis Jadot has been producing Burgundy wines since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot. Givry vines are situated around the village of Givry, between Mercurey and Montagny. Ruby with aromas of sweet red fruits and a touch of spice. On the palate rich cherry fruit, tending towards jammy, fresh, savory, good balance. Soft tannins, lingering ending with lively fruit. Nice!

Nose is the epitome of pineapple core with buttered popcorn and white flowers sneaking around.
Palate exudes tropical fruits, pineapple, papaya, lychee, light mango...All with low acidity making this so ridiculously enjoyable.
I can't believe I've found a Jadot we like better then the 2013 Ladoix Blanc, but here we are, home run (or 2004 Dave Roberts base steal), amazing, like wow!
One last question query to the Delectable community, I'm not sure of the exact vineyard here, I think it might be Sous Frétille, if you know, let me know. Thanks! — a month ago
