Well aged in Magnum format. A very beautiful beaujolese vintage who pinotes as we like. Notes of grape variety: cherries, rose petals and iris.. Beautiful notes of evolution dried flowers, truffled, humus. The 2015 density and the evolving aerial nuances of gamay form a rich and refined bouquet. Very greedy. Interesting final for this type of wine.
— 5 days ago
A week after 2019, we taste 2018. Quite similar in the design. With another year, it begin to express, notes of evolution tending towards Pinot-noir and this slightly truffled flavour, dried flowers. Delicacy.
— 12 days ago
Nose has ripening pineapple, orange peel, melted butter, warmed ripe peach and dried oak.
Palate has waxy orange peel, pineapple, Clementine juice, mild vanilla influence with light acidity and medium finish. Light on palate concentration at this stage.
Decanted 5H. Youthful, a first check on our Fall 2020 acquisitions which will go into hiding until at least 2026+
24H Update:
Nose is overflowing the Gabriel Glas with tropical fruits, ripe pineapple, pineapple core, Clementine orange zest, ripe mango but a touch of alcohol today. Palate has gentle lemon zest, pineapple, so much pineapple, just crazy! We love this wine and it only gets better with aging! Score change from 9.1 > 9.3 today. 🤯 — 14 days ago
Medium sweet but finishes fresh and fruity. Light citrus and medium lychee flavours — 13 hours ago
🏅 Rating 93/100 (4,3⭐)
Intense color with greenish hue. Fragrant aromatic, concentrated, sea salinity. Floral, almonds. Medium body. Unmistakably demonstrates the Grand Cru level which is accessible now and has immense potential for years ahead. Fully justifies the nobility of Vaudesir which often considered on par or the runner up to Le Clos.
Fairly steep slopes of Vaudesir with NW exposure provide cool temperatures and sunlight in the evening. Vines of Louis Michel parcels were planted in 1950-70s.
Winemaking with indigenous yeasts, spontaneous malo and matured for at least 18 months. Wines never see oak, stainless steel tanks only.

In southern Burgundy, at the northern border of Beaujolais, lies the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of stone fruits, melon and lemon citrus with light notes of vanilla oak. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with a minerality. Consistent quality! Nice! Good value! — 20 days ago

Bottle variation! I bought a six pack original wood case - from the set of six bottles just this the last one was truly great!????! - I don’t get it Jadot is usually reliable. This last bottle is good - cherry, allspice, honey 🍯 flavor at the back palate - tannins almost fully resolved soft mouthfeel, — 16 hours ago
