Great fruit, especially cherry, followed by firmness. Awesome — 17 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2012 pours a ruby/purple color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of lovely ripe red and black fruits: mixed brambles, Morello cherry, red flowers, licorice, garrigue, a touch of leather, mixed spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and rich. Drink now through 2032. — 21 days ago
Woah. Beautiful wine. Very elegant. Surprised! — 10 days ago
Classic CdP and an iconic producer. Blackberry, dark fruits, herbs, spice, olive, earth. Full bodied, but low-to-medium tannins and great concentration. Fantastic with Mediterranean food. — 3 days ago
Dar rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, anise and limestone. Very cabernet in the mouth with the peppery register, rounded up by the ripe Merlot. Great acidity and balance, an excellent bottle just lacking a bit of complexity which is typical of the 2000 bordeaux. — 16 days ago

2001 vintage. First time go with this producer. Nice fill. Excellent cork. Decanted and throwing age-appropriate sed. Tasted after 15 mins, 45 mins and 1.5 hours. Light-medium body. Plenty of color. Slightly bretty with plenty of spice push throughout the back/finishing palate. Likely another half-decade at this level/intensity before (d)evolving. 02.20.25. — 11 days ago
