Youngster Zweigelt Blend

The perfect table red with a fun twist. Bright and lively with crushable red fruit, cherry jolly ranchers, and nuttiness like peanut oil — 5 days ago

Offerus Saint-Joseph Syrah 2009

Surprisingly fresh in the nose with dark cherry, garden herbs, bleach olives and some roast & bacon + earthy tones in the background. Very youth in fact.
On the palate this shows nice concentration and a rich, slightly fatty mouthfeel, yet without any heaviness. This is in fact very nicely balanced with juicy, velvety, mellowing tannins and fresh acidity. More bacon & roast than cherry on the palate, making it more savoury and highly food friendly.
This is in a beautiful spot & drinking very nicely right now!

Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir 2018

This will develop nicely over the next decade. Time to put the other bottles away for a few years. Nice rounded Burgundy, just a bit young right now. — 5 days ago

Youngster Pinot Grigio 2017

Delicious, tastes like apple juice, very lightly sparkling. From DRNKS: “This is a really light and fresh white wine, with quite low acidity.” — 10 days ago

Côte du Py Morgon Gamay 2016

Hadn’t checked in on this old friend in a while. I’d been a little down in the Foillard after picking up Bretty notes, or at least flavors that remind me of Brett, but this bottle is pure and clean. Very mineral driven. Chalky, spicey and fresh. Rounding out with some air. Delicious. — 14 hours ago

Heritage Chablis Chardonnay 2015

Nose has sauteed lemon with honey, Mediterranean sea breeze, lemon pith, warmed green apple slice, washed strawberries and new hay.

Palate has green apple, yellow apple, dried lemon zest, under-ripe strawberry and (light) limestone The acidity is below our expectations in comparison to shoulder vintages, still a solid wine in any vintage.

Les Hautés Auxey-Duresses Chardonnay 2017

Delicious 2017 with aromas of hazelnut and white fruit, crisp acidity, a sense if richness but everything is harmonious and balanced, really good. 90-91

Excellent CDB 2017 encore une fois, fruits blancs, noisettes, acidité vive avec une certaine richesse de texture pour un ensemble savoureux et harmonieux.

Côte du Py Morgon Gamay 2013

Certainly one of the estate's fine cuvée. As the Cote du Py produces concentrated and deep Gamay wines, the Morgons produced there develop nuances which gain depth with a few years of aging. Here, the 2013 is still very lively, and full of delicacy, carrying a potential for another 5 years and a Burgundy Pinot-Noir side which gives it a lot of refinement. A light wine, full of nuances.

Chateau St. Jean

Cinq Cépages Sonoma County Red Blend 2012

From a 5 Bordeaux grape blend: 84% Cab Sauv, 6% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc, 2% Malbec & 2% Petit Verdot, aged 20 months French oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with notes of stewed prunes, mushroom, pepper, herbs and earthy notes. Fine sweet tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well. — 11 days ago

Moulin-à-Vent Gamay 2017

One of the most successful cuvées of the domain, which gives to taste the possible junction between Beaujolais and Burgundy. Wine with a simple and delicious refinement. The woody notes blend harmoniously with Gamay and terroir notes. All in nuances with a beautiful airy aromatic concentration.
