Sage and white pepper on the nose. Silken lingonberry and morello cherry and strawberry pop tart filling. Absolutely seductive, I’m interested in his whole bunch stuff cause this texture is a memory foam pillow — 7 years ago
Love it to death! Hoppy and tastes pretty much like Little Creature’s Pale Ale except it’s tons cheaper here where I live. — 7 years ago
Top Syrah from Croatia - Dalmatia. - Had it at ManO2 in Zagreb. With duck breasts and beets on Cabernet Sauvignon reduction, baby carrots and beetroot foam. Fine Zagreb dinner. — 8 years ago

Lemon and mineral, sea foam, searing acid. — 3 years ago
Just delicious, amazing to see what people are getting up to in Australian wine. — 5 years ago
Cedar, brewers yeast, dried roses, concrete. -very dry. You can sense it’s dryness on the nose. Slightly muted blue and red fruit. Gets better with air. Think this would be great with age. In 10 years, smoke and more roses. — 6 years ago
high acid, so tart, so fun. good bubbles. bruised apple, rubber tire, lime — 6 years ago
White clear tasting ale. — 7 years ago
Cloudy yellow-orange. Light fizz, apple and just a bit of funk. Extremely pleasant. — 8 years ago
Excellent, expensive but excellent. So much going on. I swear there's an aroma of sea foam in it. Rich acid and deep almost smoky taste. The mencia really shines here. This is like a Bichi wine, but taken to the next level. I'd buy it all the time if it were cheaper. — 4 years ago
A salty acid bomb. Some herbal undertones and lime notes rising above it all. The acids settle down after about 30 min, but still very prominent throughout the bottle. — 6 years ago
Active peach-gold and inscrutably, near opaque, with an arrogantly vaulted, whited foam tower, unblemished by human tears; clinging lacing like dish soap suds, tear raggedly to silhouettes of prehistoric headbutts. Soapy breastmilk and citrus rising on yeast, grapefruit pith peeled thinly, clover rolls just browning, and leather fringes. Lively mouthfeel as expected. Lime pith and grapefruit with papery ginger slices, orange zest, magnolia, carrot bread, straw, zucchini spirals, ginseng, and banana peel. Complex rusticity. .

Think I like this better than the last Miraval vintage which is to say, totally solid and yum grocery store avail rosé that when the warm weather beckons you can crack alongside your springtime frolics. But like, better than a lot of rosé. Maybe not on par w my faves but damn enjoyable. Okay WSET-(ish)analysis.
Eye: almost salmon
Nose: medium intensity raspberry meringue and an invigorated river
Tongue: medium plus acid, medium alcohol (13%) and medium plus bod for a pink. Flavors of raspberry foam, vanilla cream and, like big stones tossed into a cobbler, damn that is not technically wset but I’ll save those notes for the test I have coming. Anyway yum. Maybe I am too happy to drink a happy pink lime Miraval but I’m into this one about as much as I was the year I discovered it which I believe was the 2015 vintage. Yay. Go on now. Taste n tell me your thoughts. — 8 years ago

This is a red wine, but it is orange in the glass, and it pours up with a healthy white foam that dissipates rather quickly. The nose is very earthy and unlike most other Lambruscos I have tasted. The aromas center on citrus, apricot, and herbal notes, with a yeasty twist. The flavors are quite earthy, too, and not at all what I would expect from a red wine, even one that’s orange. Minerality plays a leading role here, with stone fruit and cherry notes following. — a month ago
