Yum. Just delicious. Served it with ribeyes cooked sous vide and finished on the grill, and roasted gnocchi and mushrooms. The wine’s silky tannins and fresh red cherry sat naturally with the earthy minerality of the roasted mushrooms, while the wine’s acidity stayed bright enough to cut through the gnocchi’s richness without claiming the stage. In its early window, the Pinot was all finesse and poise, letting the steak and vegetables breathe rather than dominating — a month ago

Lithe & supple, with agility and resonance. This is the Leonard Cohen of Gamay! Hallelujah!🙏 — 7 months ago
Raspberries and Cherry - no strawberries (which was mentioned by another reviewer). So definitely on the Burgh side of things and just 13.5%. Fresh bright and beautiful. Flawless (I like it with some funk). Wouldn’t keep it drink now. As far as I remember highly rated by the so to speak « wine authorities ». — 3 days ago
Steal of a value in the world of Oregon PN — 3 months ago
We had this and Louise for an in house vertical. Both had a great mouthfeel. Both had black cherry, black raspberry and a cherry liqueur feel. Jessie was just a little lighter in flavor. Both were better now than when I had them 6 years ago. Medium bodied, fruit forward. — 9 months ago
Nose - Plum, candied orange, peat moss and wood. Mouthfeel - Velvety smooth up front, ending in a subtle pleasant astringency. Main flavors - Stone fruit and earth with a delicate acidic ending with a touch of dryness, like you get when you lick the pit of a nectarine, peach or plum. Overall - a gorgeously complex and lovely Pinot!! 1 million out of 10! — 6 days ago
Excellent wine to go with an excellent show! Enjoyed this bottle while watching Matt Mauser and the Reno Jazz Orchestra play at Sand Harbor SP. — 24 days ago
PnP. Raspberry, cranberry, plums, and dried herbs on the nose. On the palate, the same flavors come through, and with time in the glass, florals and cardamom with underlying hints of cloves and allspice emerge. Nice finish, with the floral and cardamom flavors lingering. Overall really tasty, but required time in the glass to open up. Probably would benefit from a short decant. — 2 months ago

A profoundly backward Jessie James that took a strange, winding path over several days. Initially reduced and giving maybe 10%, with matchstick, damson, sour and mid-season cherry, mineral and very little aromatic expression. The palate was completely discombobulated at first, but the material was obvious: beautiful velvety tannins, tiny-berry fruit intensity, tremendous depth and an extraordinarily long, persistent finish. After about ninety minutes it briefly opened into something spectacular, with deep, voluminous perfume, sweet and sour cherries, mossy minerality and exotic spice, the nose easily operating at a 9.7 level. Then it closed again, the tannins took over and both nose and palate retreated. Two days later it is much more composed, silky and elegant, with pure red fruit, sour cherry and beautifully refined tannins. Very good, serious and clearly built to age, but not at the level of the great 2021 or 2022 Jessie James. — 11 days ago
