This wine will give the run for the money (around $20-ish), taste a fell absolute Lucius, a beautiful concept guided by legendary Michel Roland from a single vineyard at the valley de Uco, Argentina. A complex blend dominated by half (50%) Malbec, 24% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 7% cab sauv, 3% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cab Franc. Tanning are solid, inky and waxy texture with a long finish. Very well made, better even the second day — 7 days ago
Faboosh. Unreal aromas. The darkest of all the Stephan Cru’s but so ethereal. — 2 months ago
2014 vintage. Opened but not decanted. Probably a mistake as the wine was muted for the first 30 mins after opening. Light-medium bod. Raspberry and plum suggestions frontal/mid palate. Tannic references available upon request. Showed decently but have tasted better exactly same specimen previously. Seemed slightly muted but not flawed. Blaming it on me decanting previous bottles of selfsame but not this one. How to lose a wine in a second. My bad. Call me the same name as Steve Martin's dog in The Jerk. Grrr. — a month ago
