Delicious wine. A little sweeter than what I expected. But has a nice tart finish. Well balanced and easy drinking. 12.95 at lawc. Get more. — 13 days ago
Delicate and delicious. Subtle fruit, crisp. 24.95 at lawc. Definitely get again. — a month ago
Fragrant and flowery with dry finish. Great gift from Ann. Tasty. Should not have wasted some of it making Aperol spritz. Oh well, they were great and I’ve learned my lesson. — a month ago
Very structured with a dry finish. It eventually opened up. Should have held it for a little longer and then let it breathe more. Need fatty red meat and not pasta or chicken. For 21.99 at WH would get again. — 16 days ago
Not bad for a cheap cab. 8.99 at lawc. Babs liked it more than me. It’s got good aromas but a little too sweet and broad for my taste. And I’m beginning to realize I’m very picky about cabs. — a month ago
Very drinkable wine for 5.99 at lawc. Broad and simple. But refreshing and easy drinking. Would get again. — a month ago
Easy drinking. Nice nose and lots of fruit. For 11-12 at Costco. Would get again. — 22 days ago
Meh… thin with bitter aftertaste. 9.95 at lawc. Would not get again. — 22 days ago
Fruity and sweet. Some complexity. Easy drinking. 12.95 at lawc. Would get again. — a month ago
Strong sharp almost acrylic smell followed by rich fruity aroma, plumb - oak - layered rich and thick. Later on almost like expensive tea with a complex and fragrant bouquet .
Taste is sharp at first with stringent dry tannic. Powerful and strong. Followed by fruit. Plumb, cherry, stone fruit. Crisp and refreshing. Cuts though the fat like a knife. And ends with a bitter sweetness that makes you want to take another sip.
Not as amazing as I remembered back in 2017 in Montepulciano. But good in its own way. Softened much more the 2nd day. Maybe I should decant for 5hrs next time. — a month ago
