Brisk acidity balanced by stone fruit’s, mineral, and hints of sherry — 2 months ago
This wine is the 2021 Domaine Louis Boillot & Fils Gevrey-Chambertin. It offers a shimmering medium ruby hue with nuanced red-fruit and earthy characteristics that effortlessly leap from the glass, especially after some time decanting. There’s also a delicate crème brûlée and toasty note that adds dimension.

Not so Pommard-y after ten years, and that’s a good thing. — 2 days ago
A bit dusty on opening but now starting to shine with delicate fruits, fine tannines and a good and balanced freshness. — 15 days ago
Fine and attractive, has a lovely approachability in its supple fruit, pliant tannin, and ripe texture. Despite the vintage character, there’s nice balance here with good freshness and aromatics. Black cherry, slightly roasted, plum, spicecake, sweet meat, sous bois, wilted flowers, balsam, rosemary and licorice. Minimal racking, probably a fine call for ‘18 — 6 months ago
