These are night 2 notes. Much better than my earlier bottles, which I drank too young. Nose showing a classic Pessac profile of green tobacco leaf, cigar box, loamy gravel, deep cassis and berry fruit. Soft, rich, and earthy in the mouth. Starting to drink very nicely. I should have laid off the other bottles! — 3 months ago

2017 Cuvee Barberini. it lost a little bit of. It’s like acidic life but still really really nice. lots of Stony mineral reality. a bit of wood showing with loss of fruit. But it’s still quite interesting. — 10 days ago
