Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice earthy Pessac. Classy. Bargain.

Solid Pessac. Cigar box, a little pleasant vegetal note, nice plummy fruit underneath. Soft and with a lot of brickish savoriness, this is probably a wine for pleasurable consumption over the next 5 years.

These are night 2 notes. Much better than my earlier bottles, which I drank too young. Nose showing a classic Pessac profile of green tobacco leaf, cigar box, loamy gravel, deep cassis and berry fruit. Soft, rich, and earthy in the mouth. Starting to drink very nicely. I should have laid off the other bottles!

This one is delicious! Would absolutely buy again. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. Juicy and ripe plum. Oak. Leather finish. Balanced. Enjoyed with steak

After Decanting for 3 hours: cherry on the fore palate, long, smooth finish with easy to sip tannins. After dinner, sipping by the fire.

Stone fruit, stone fruit and a bit more stone fruit. A lasting bitter aftertaste stopped this scoring higher
