We got a future legend here. Nose js exotic citrus, herbs galore, slate, some pink grapefruit and apricot. Very expressive and super clear. There is also an umami aroma that is so enticing. Stunning. 9.7 nose. Palate is a dream. Citrus and sweet lime along with gorgeous clarity and freshness. This is ungodly fresh. Awesome grip, acidity and length yet ephemeral and light on its feet. So juicy and tangy with lovely salt notes on the finish. This is magic and has elite finesse why it is a 9.7 wine. Can’t wait to see what air does. Now with air the nose gets confectionary. Unreal variety of citrus now. Some sea air. Now the palate has a lemon lime citrus sweet tart aspect and is gaining some crunch. Wow what a finish. This is genius. — 15 days ago

Reliable, delicious, and reasonable. Slightly on the fruitier end of the Bordeaux spectrum - gorgeous blackberry, plum and cassis, balanced by delicious chocolate, exotic tobacco, and good spice. Good acidity provides incredible length. Always amazing for the price. — 2 months ago

Outdoor tasting season is upon us on the east coast and I couldn’t be happier. Nose of lemon and lime zest plus lime fruit. Subtle notes of oak and iodine. Really compelling minerality and purity. Such a great vintage at Chavy. Palate is so energetic and full of lime, lemon and barely ripe green apple skins. So juicy and clean. Unreal purity and length. Excellent. So tangy with loads of bitter but and barely sweet citrus. — 23 days ago

Grapes are sourced from all the the best appellations in Napa. From the valley floor to high Hills. Bright cherry flavors combine with elements of cassis and clove. Tannins come on mid palette to the finish.

A lovely Cabernet that drinks well above its price point. Love that.

From vineyards within the Puligny-M appellation, this ‘basic’ Bourgogne Bkanc is a steal!
Fresh & supple with yellow apple, a hint of exotic fruit, some shortbread, but there’s also nice tension & purity here.
On the palate this poised, elegant, brilliantly balanced. So juicy & with great flow & depth. Drinking beautifully right now!

Excellent really. Sweet Pinot Fruit. Cherry 🍒 mostly. Just 13.5%. Very refined. Like a Burgundy at a much better price point. Planted in 1996 to Pommard, Wadenswil and 114. Dry farmed! Needs at least 2 hours of air. Teanotes, … fresh! In my book one of the top 10 Pinots in the US. — a month ago
