Medium light lemon yellow . Quite cool , citrus focused on the nose , touches of white flowers and chalk dust . Fills out well on the palate with nice lemon , white peach notes , oyster shell good balanced acidity, without any excess weight. Ok length , just a hint of toastiness on the finish. Drinking well now and over the next 5 years . — 2 months ago
From vineyards within the Puligny-M appellation, this ‘basic’ Bourgogne Bkanc is a steal!
Fresh & supple with yellow apple, a hint of exotic fruit, some shortbread, but there’s also nice tension & purity here.
On the palate this poised, elegant, brilliantly balanced. So juicy & with great flow & depth. Drinking beautifully right now!
I’ve had quite some Puligny’s or Chassagne’s much worse than this! — 2 months ago
Deep ruby red. Plum, raspberry and blueberry. Spices. Balanced one. More concentrated than the previous vintage.

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru, en magnum, has a clean and precise bouquet, tightly-wound at first, perhaps lean to those accustomed to more fruit driven Burgundy of late. Yet there is real tension here. The palate is medium-bodied and pliant on the entry with pointed acidity. There's a slight tapering towards the finish that you don't usually find with this climat. It is actually meliorated in the glass, so don't be afraid to decant. Tasted at Stannery Wines' producer tasting in London. (Neal Martin, Vinous, June 2024)

I thought this was the most complete and elegant of the trio of ‘12 Cornas we opened. Dark fruited, sinewy, meaty and herbal, floral and spicy notes add interest to a long and dramatic finish. Plenty of life ahead — 20 days ago
