Outdoor tasting season is upon us on the east coast and I couldn’t be happier. Nose of lemon and lime zest plus lime fruit. Subtle notes of oak and iodine. Really compelling minerality and purity. Such a great vintage at Chavy. Palate is so energetic and full of lime, lemon and barely ripe green apple skins. So juicy and clean. Unreal purity and length. Excellent. So tangy with loads of bitter but and barely sweet citrus.

an under the radar White Burgundy producer who’s 60+ year old vines from this village level lieu-dit are located near the Chassagne side across from Grand Cru Batard Montrachet…OVERperformer!
