This great. Tasting perfect right now. Good garagiste buy. A lot of leather, herbs, plum, tart cherry. Great with fatty meats. — 13 days ago

Elegant, aromatic, cassis. Very fine still. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2005 pours a garnet color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, black plum, capsicum, tobacco, horse blanket, gravelly earth, and a mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and elegant. Drink now through 2055. — 8 days ago
Fantastic pour from an often overlooked vintage year, smooth, well-balanced, delicate, great on its own and even better when paired with a well prepared steak covered with truffle and mushroom sauce, as presented at our Commanderie de Bordeaux dinner at the Hope Club. — 2 days ago
I was initially scared that I was opening this too soon but it is really in a great spot. Blue fruits and flowers, a bit of graphite, and layered tannins make for an excellent texture. Elegant wine with a luxurious mouthfeel. 73% Cabernet Sauvignon 27% Merlot. — 21 days ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blueberries and blackberries, earthy, mushroom and toffee. Overall great flavors of black fruit, cassis and scorched earth. Tasted better after a day open.
🍇 65% Cab, 30% merlot, 2% cab franc and 1% petit Verdot.

2019- smooth and very enjoyable — 2 months ago
Absolutely gorgeous nose of cedar, wood shavings, pine, cigar, cassis and florals, with classic Margaux perfume and extraordinary depth. The palate has really smoothed out since my last bottle, with creamy cassis, unbelievable juiciness, tiny-berry concentration, sweet velvety pointillist tannins and beautiful minerality carrying an enormously long finish. Still structured and angular enough to age, but now far more integrated. One of the great Bordeauxs. — 20 days ago
Will always love this wine and vintage, as it is what we selected to serve at my son’s wedding, to go with an excellent beef tenderloin. Dark ruby red, light floral aroma, full bodied and a medium tannins, with a rich, juicy flavor that elevated the beef. Served at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek (although I think we wiped their stock out for@the wedding!). ❤️❤️❤️ — 21 days ago
2016 loved — 2 days ago
Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing plums, currants, light wood, earth, spices, coffee, herbs, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, black pepper, pencil lead and black tea.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Margaux. Nicely balanced and easy drinking. Fruit forward and elegant.
Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel, spicy and Interesting.
This 10 year old from the great 2016 vintage is still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
Needed a few hours to open up properly, which I didn't have, and it might have been a bit better with more airtime. Already enjoyable even by itself, and a good food wine too.
A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot. Aged in (60% new) French Oak barrels for 16 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Medium ruby garnet with quite wide garnet rim . Still quite youthful for age . Aromatic from the off, with red plum , cherry , hedgerow fruit , cigar box , scorched earth , dried flowers . On the palate this is medium bodied , with lots of herbal tinged red fruits , tobacco , grafite, with good volume. Perfectly balanced acidity and suave resolved tannins . Long tobacco edged , red fruit finish . Very detailed and aromatic, no need to decant , really pretty and in a lovely spot though don’t see this improving further, as after about 2 hours this particular bottle starts to fade a little , loosing its aroma and showing a touch of rain water and wet rock hints on the nose, and fading a little on the palate . Drink now and over the next 5 years or so to get the best of this . At Restaurante Fasano , Jardins , São Paulo — 8 days ago
